exhaust gasket

Puting a full system on this weekend:doug. Just wondering if I can get away with not changing the gaskets. My aprilia dealer is useless as normal and has none in. Anyone no if other exhaust gaskets fit or what size they are, as I no alot are universal.

get some decent exhaust paste ..that will do the job

Holt's paste in a tube or simillar.

I replaced my front header without changing the gasket,and think I`ll need to nip the nuts up a little more,as not sure if there is a slight leak,think it would have been savvy too have put a smear of silicone on,

Ditto Im in the same boat ,just picked up a twin arrow system of ebay for £180 posted!!!!,just got some polishing to do & fit tee hee

PM Griff guys, he'll more than likely have them in stock.

PS. Don't use exhaust paste please, it's the spawn of the Devil himself and will make a right old mess of the job.

If you must use a sealant then buy some Loctite silicone sealant (yeah like the **** you use round the bath) it'll make a much better seal and far less mess.
