What do you mean by the 'healer in place' ??? ???agreed!! however make sure you dont start the bike with the healer in place, otherwise its off to the dealer with you!

Just do the RACE flash, and no worries about the error light. I removed the flapper too....should that read without....
I found it smoother at low revs it is fitted for noise emissions I think. I took the cables of the motor and not the valve end, when disconnected the flapper is spring loaded in the open position
I thought mine ran a little lean at low revs, but that was when I had the jerky throttle response, I might give it another try.
I removed mine and fitted a PCV with autotune.
The autotune added a lot of fuel low down and now my fuelling is smooth as silk from part throttle at low revs to full throttle, red line.
Been riding it a little while now with the flap re connected?, it's fine and not as noisy at low rpm so will stick with it like this for a whileDid the exhaust flap mod, possibly a little smoother but WAY WAY to loud it did my head in with the thunder slash so connected it all back up, it was a bit of a bitch to re connect as such an awkward place l, luckily I took a photograph of the cables on the sevo end with the threads exposed pre dismantled so I knew roughly where to reset it to l, just hope it's all reconnected correctly, will try it back as it and re post my findings..
