Happy new year to you all........:thumbup

ask gaz(rsvr47) he runs a renegade on his and map 2 he would be the one to tell you. :thumbup

My personal opinion is the Renegade style kits, no need to worry about the sealing problems with the Evo style ones.

I picked mine up used through another Aprilia forum. Some people actually make their own as they basically use a big car air filter mounted on a plate - Worth doing a search first if you are handy with the tools and save a few quid.....

I believe the Rene has the most induction roar, IMO if you want the best kit then go for the Homer Ewe one

the evo airkit gives more peak power which is usefull if you have down geared. The renegade is louder andgives more low down torque. Its a difficuclt choice,Depend wot you want. I have the evo airkit , which on a 02 mille with evo akra 2-1 system, 57Tb's and pc111 gave me a peak of 125bhp and a nice flat torque curve.
cheers CK

I'd be interested in doing a DIY job on the airbox if it wasn't too complicated, has anyone attempted it?

PM me your email addy Rusty and i will forward the "how to" instructions, it is not difficult and has been on my bike for 18k miles, never let me down ever:biggrin

Renegade gives more noise and power. Ask Don at southerncross. the only tim e you get more power with the evo is at V high speed as you get the ram effect from the closed airbox. The renegade gives more as it draws airfrom everywhere, racers even lift the tank an extra inch to give a larger intake area. Hope it helps
