Morning all from down under, guys i just fitted an Evo air kit to my bike. All went well , except now the bike is Slugish as it is getting soooo much air. As i am waiting on a set of akro's to come (and I should prob also get a PC III, good idea or just go second map?) and want to wait until I fit these before i get it tuned up. Is there anything i can do apart from a rag and a bit o gaf tape to restrict air intake. Is it pos. to twig fuel up., or si this strickly left to the pro's . cheers:pirate

not sure but if you have standard cans on that might cause this the bike i have is on second map after market can and had no problem when fitted the evo air kit

Thanks Pointer, yeah the bike has standard cans fitted.Spose I'll just have to wait till the Akro's arrive ,fit and then Get Professionally set up. think it will hurt my bubs riding in the meantime?

The Akros will make all the difference..definately wait to you bolt them on and take it for a run ..but before if you havn't done so clean & gap, or replace plugs. Lots of air flow and a nice burn is what you be looking for. Do the run, don't hammer it hard for too long..then if it felt good..pull a plug and check the burn colour...we don't want too lean. I have an after market chip, so not sure what you can do on your models std. one...but i'm sure a PC III will fine tune where necessary.
