evo air box fitting?

fitted the evo air box, should the undercut section or smooth side billet ring be clamping the rubber skirt to the bottom air box half? sod law sez i have got it the wrong way up!

any cheaper replacement for the evo filter?

Just take the top of the air box off and throw into the hedge. The rubber seal lays on top of the mating edge of the lower air box section and the ally ring bolts on top of that, polished side up. Dont forget to lubricate with sealing goo.
