7 years ago I entered a free draw at West Mids Game Fair and won a £6000 Kawasaki quad ,,, which I sold for £4500

Last Sunday I entered a random draw on a radio station and today had a call to say I've won 2 x tickets to Silverstone this Sunday for final of British Touring Car Championships

Free parking.
Free entry to stand.
An escorted walk of the grid as they line up
Free entry to pit lane and to garage
Photos with competition sponsors car.
Free food and drink all day.


Thing is I'd got a game of golf organised with my mates for Sunday

Oh ... what a quandry ... what to do?

Lucie is fine and has indeed been out on the bike since her dramatic tippage incident ... but as kids do ... she has less and less to do with that bloke called dad and so rarely goes on the bike, goes fishing or anything else we used to relish.

However!

Tomorrow should be awesome

We have access to all areas ... and I am relying on Pure Radio and Hughs Motorsport for direction as I have never been to a race track before.

Its a full day of races from 0930hrs - 1715hrs so Im packing plenty of pop and £200 spending money so if anything eadible or blingy takes our fancy ... we will eat it / buy it.

This is a real red-letter day and never to be repeated so I intend to make the most of it ... for both of us
