Well the snow has finally gone at last so I thought pop out for a spin blow the cobwebs out all fine but the back brake felt a bit soft.
So got back and decided too bleed the system , un did the caliper , held it high up ( bleed nipple to the top , bloody ell it was all going well got a real good back brake. Then I went too bolt it all back together chuffed to bits that it went so well , and you know that feeling you get when you tighten up a bolt and then it goes very loose !! , oh yes thats the mounting bolt fecked .
So out with the helicoil another job to do !! , that all done my dog runs into the garage to greet me hits my tin with brake parts in all over the garage floor !! . I then spent an hour looking for the small circlip that fits on the end of the pad retaining pin !!!!!!!!!!!.
Sod this I'm off for a beer now not touching the bike again today !!!!!!!!!

You :fire the dog :dunno

Had to laugh as that's what would have happened to me

Been there mate, but had already been helicoiled so I just drilled a bigger hole and tapped a thread for a bigger bolt.
But I feel your pain - without doubt alcohol is the only answer!!!
