ENGINE CHANGE mileage problem

HI just changed the engine on my 2001 RSV haga that had 43k for a 2003 engine with 11k on at the weekend. all fitted and running fine nice and smooth plus started first time. the problem is the mileage on the clock now says -29062 not the 43k whats happening or do i have to reset the clocks some how ??
any help please thanks

only other thing i have put a 1 tooth down sprocket on the front

hi darren is that mph or km showing ? if youve been km you might have set it to mph some how .mine has somehow changed to km a few times but its easy to change back to mph ,so might be that

think it might be OK was reading a thread about clocks losing miles after have battery disconnected for short period of time and been a common fault.
