Anyone got any ideas why my T won't start.

The battery is new and fully charged, alarm is operating as normal, lights come on and dash springs in to life as normal but when I go to hit the start button there is nowt. Fuel pumps kicks in whirring away. I have tried everything.

So pressing the starter does absolutely nothing?

Try bridgeing the contacts of your starter solenoid with a screwdriver.

OR the kill switch has been pressed? :dunno

When you say the fuel pump kicks in, are we talking continuously ?

If it were the kill swtich or sidestand relay the fuel pump wouldn't activate (Go try Moggi ;) )

So, you have a few potential options.

1. Starter relay fried (not common for them to 'go'completely
2 ECU

As said above, bridge the starter solenoid with a pair of rubber gripped pliers.

Or use jump lead and bridge from the battery to the starter motor.

You didn't get it from the same place as ChrisBuck did yer :lol

On a serious note, have you had your tank up and seat off ? I you pull the tank on a T right back they can catch/press on some of the electrical connectors and force them apart.

Is the key OK?
If the little tip breaks off the immobiliser doesn't deactivate.

Otherwise have you tried selecting a gear and then reselecting neutral?
My wifes bike does something similar if it isn't fully in neutral.

I've removed the seat to remove battery and that all seems fine, battery appears charged with a 12.6 and tank hasn't been removed. I've tried both keys and it is just the same.

I will be speaking to the places I bought from am so we'll see what he reckons.

Is there an alarm fitted ??????, also at the rear of the battery in the electric`s bit ..... check junctions as said before.

Aye, I spoke with the guy at the dealership and he's going to check am so I'll leave it too the warranty.
