Hi

Need some advise or guidance

Went to start my Tuono (09) for a ride out today and clock came up with the red triangle and a message saying ECU and a picture of two leads disconnected

I have lights, horn, indicators just no power to the starter

Any clues to what may be causing this??

Nice intro,....
Check the small wiring connector on the starter solenoid.Might be corroded or pulled out.Could also be a dodgy starter button/wiring.The disconnection icon tells you the ecu has'nt received a signal its supposed too.

get a manual, look at the electrics section and find the diagram that isolates the starting circuit.. check each component and their connectors in an orderly manner, could be a break in a wire in round the headstock, have had and seen wires being crimped by the lock stops..

Where is the starter situated, im a bit of a numpty with mechanical bits:banghead

Check the fuses as well (2 in a block) 30 amp. normal size ones.

There is another fuse box with little fuses in .

Have checked those all ok thanks

I have had a corroded connection before , it was not packed with the waterproof grease from new,and the bike is only 3 years old, Italian wiring!!
