hi all washed my bike on sunday and thought i'd go for a blast out but on right hand side of dash the EFI symbol kept flashing up bringing my ride out to a stop, anyone know what this means ?? sorry am quite new to the mille

Just a guess but I think the clue may be in '' just washed ''

If I recall the sensor in the airtube is susceptable to water ingress,perhaps dry that out and try again? Failing that a squirt of WD40 around things electrical may do the trick.
 
was thinking that !! the just washed feeling. water italian electric's not a good mix !!!
 
just dried off the air sensor and sprayed around some electrical parts and seems to be fine now
