EFI problem on 2003 tuono 1000

Hi can anyone help?

My Tuono sometimes cuts out when trying to start ! and then EFI comes up on dash then restarts in Klm not mph or it runs the brand new battery down and floods engine ? (starting to piss me off ?)
anyone know whats going on with it ?

EFI = fuel management?? ??? I think ?

Hahahha Sorry Lads !
Had the Tuono for about 8months went from ZX6R to the V.Twin best move iv ever made ! but its all going Pete Tong ! with this EFI ?

That's a bit better I suppose!!

Never seen the EFI thing but normally the switching to kmh is when the battery is fubared? But you said new batterys are suffering so must be something else?

most people you will find hunt out thease forums becasuse thay have a problem with the perticular bike
in forum heading.

not bicuse thay suddenly feal an afinaty to all bikers with the same bike
a frendly aproche would probabully genarat more frendly members just a thought
 
How hard is it to say at least hello ffs!!

I completely understand using a forum to ask for help, but surely it's common courtesy to say hello first?
 
Jasper ,Sorry pal i was asking a question with regards to problems im having with my bike and im new to forums etc and thought people would be helpful? Any info would be much appreciated?

STiX, thanks mate gonna see if its the correct type of battery for this bike as when i bought the bike it may have had a new/wrong battery fitted before i bought the bike ! and when i bought the new battery i just took the battery in and asked for the same one (School Boy Error) should of checked what battery type its needed in manual !

i lernt long ago not every one is the same but to be treted as if you are the same .is what maters
a lot of bikers get in to bikes because thay arent comfertabull arounde a lot of people
thats my ten penath worth eny way.

as far as your problem goes with the bike put it in a heated room .. room tep for 3 or 4 days
then see

More info required,....
Does the engine turn over at all when you press the starter?
Does it fire at all?
What battery do you have,and how old?
What voltage do you have at the battery terminals?(Check with a multimeter,...not the ****** voltmeter on the clocks)
If it does fire and start what is the terminal voltage with the engine running?
