APRILIA MILLE RSV 1000 R
GENUINE UK SPEC COLLIN EDWARDS SBK REPLICA
1 OF 440 MADE WORLD WIDE AND ONLY 1 OF 40 THAT CAME TO THE UK!
This is truly a machine to behold and will surely become a collectors machine in time to come. This is a rare motorcycle indeed and all of you Aprilia riders will know the credentials of this machine,
It is not simply an RSVR with different decals, this limited edition Collin Edwards SBK Replica came with a full Akrapovic Race Exhaust System, a matched Eprom Race Chip and also a choice of front cogs for road or race use. The Ram airbox is larger and has enhanced air intake ducting tubes identical to Collins track bike fitted and a set of massive 57 mm throttle bodies. The engine was also reworked with titainium conrods and a host of other component changes that set it apart from the norm. The engine kicks out a heart stopping 138 at the rear wheel and the usual vee twin stomp becomes a massive surge of grunt that only a vee twin can deliver. 2nd, 3rd and 4th are quite simply stunning and this machine will even make the latest fours sit up and beg as you propel yourself like a rocket out of corners.
The acceleration from this machine is ferocious and addictive, Quite simply this is the best machine that Aprilia have ever produced. This is my third RSV and that includes the latest Factory version and this just beats them all hands down.
This Collin Edwards Replica is blessed with ultra low miles and the full history of this machine is known. It sat in a showroom with Infinity Motorcycles as a showpiece for just over a year with a price tag of £12800. It was then purchased by the first owner on the 29th Sept 2004, I have the original bill of sale from Infinity Motorcycles it achieved its first service/Aprilia check @ 458 miles on the 12th Oct 2004 and then didn't come out to play again until the following summer of 2005.
This machine has quite simply never seen rain and a simple inspection of all engine casings, covers etc will confirm this. I have all the names and addresses of the previous owners from which you can confirm the authenticity and geniune ultra low mileage. I was extremely lucky to find this bike and when I did it had only 1600 miles on the clock, in the last 18 months I have managed to ride it up to 2365 miles, it is off the road at the moment as I sorn my bikes of the road for 6 months over the wnter periods (hence the low mileage)
It is with great regret that I am selling this truly stunning machine and it is only due to the fact that I have purchased a car that I really need to let it go, plus I have two other bikes that I ride.
Apart from all of the special equipment listed above this machine is adorned with the finest suspension components front and rear from Ohlins including the Ohlins steering damper. It has Brembo radial brakes with braided hoses all round. It also comes with a Blue Annodised top yoke and lightweight OZ blue annodised Wheels.
The Bike comes as standard (If thats what you can call it) except from a Powerbronze double bubble dark tint screen and a set of the latest Oxford heated grips with pushbutton ON/OFF and rotational heat control. These are ideal for those crisp British mornings.
The bike is fitted with a DATATOOL system 3 alarm/immobiliser and the instalation certificate is present for insurance purposes.
All Documentation, Manuals service/warranty books, SBK full race exhaust fitting instructions and receipts are present as are the two keys/fobs.
A full Hpi check certificate / documentation is included dated 26/07/06 which was in forrce when I purchased the bike to prove that this bike is genuine with no oustanding finance and no chequered history i.e stolen recovered or an insurance category damage claim etc.
So there you go .........i live in Cornwall so you will have to travel but it'll be worth it .... £4500
