Just Edwards trying to put pressure on Tech 3 to play their hand by indicating he has options i think.

As far as ai know all Aprilia have done is said they will consider him if and when a ride is available next year. That could just be Aprilia giving the hurry up to Nakano and Biaggi to start pushing as they have not really progressed results wise as the season has gone on.

Ah the old mind games. I see. I don't like to read MCN as more often than not their stories are sensationalist ********.

Edwards Rep RSV4 anyone?

there having a laugh, biaggi and nakano aren't the tallest people in the world but edwards is a giant! no way will he fit on that bike!

According to MCN Aprilia are going to have at LEAST 4 RSV4's in WSB next year. This is partly owing to the fact that they won't have a prescence in new Moto2 class and will lose all the bike leasing that they currently do in the 125 class. So there may well be a seat for Edwards! I'm 6' and had a sit on the V4 and it doesn't FEEL as small as it looks.

bloody hell dave where have you been:dunno
good to see you back:thumbup

edwards couldnt ride a trycicle never mind an RSV, better to put haga on it i think :eatcorn

Erm no offence Vinny but Edwards was forth on Saturday. He was the highest finishing non-factory rider and also beat a lot of factory riders.

As the old saying goes.... "You're only as good as your last race". Also for those who don;t believe that addage. He's also the highest non factory rider in the championship..

We all saw the WSB today and knwo what the RSV4 is capable of. If the latest rumours are to be correct. next year could see toseland on the R1 and Edwards on the RSV4. Due to their current rivalry due to a multitude of reasons, next year could be one hell of a season in WSB.

So, in response to your reply Vinny, I think the evidense says that not only can he ride tricycle but I reckon he could be one of the champion headers in WSB next year and, dare I say it, possibly putting his name, rightfully, on the WSB Championship trophy once again.

COME ON COLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like the silly season is upon us...

colin is a top tier rider who has won in wsbk...if he goes back to wsbk on the aprilia he will be a contender, no doubt because the rsv4 is hella fast and the chasis seems good too...but right now it doesnt matter who is in wsbk they will have to deal with spies on that r1 unless he goes to gp which may happen if there is no colin nor toseland at tech3 then spies will have to contend with rossi lorenzo stoner pedrosa and such...

as for haga on the aprilia...he will continue to fall short of winning it all...this year was his best chance and that appears to have evaporated considering this weeks results and his injuries...

Well there was supposedly talks about Spies to Aprilia this past week, then again that might be Spies working Yamaha to get the support he likes. Biaggi looked pretty well this weekend, unfortunately it all went to sh!t in race 2. Would love to see Biaggi / Edwards on an '10 team.
