Well i say hats off and big respect for Eddie Kid, who after being paralysed 15 years ago after a ( seemingly ) small accident has completed the london marathon 2 months after starting !

Fair play, raised £75000 too, top man..:thumbup

i saw that on the news ...

fair play and god bless him and all who are similarly ****** up yet resilient.

Big respect to the man, met him once, real nice guy with a great outlook on life considering his circumstances.

tr, look at mine. yer flashin???

DB, I was at an achievement award ceremony tonight at my lassies school, it wis fir the secondary school kids in ma region. All the political big wigs were there to hand out the awards. There were around 100 kids there to receive awards but one lassie stood head and shoulders above them all imo. She attended a special needs school and could barely get up the stepps in front of the stage. She had represent scotland for table tennis and was also the scottish champion in her section. Turned oot I knew both her parents and I bumped into them afterwards, their lassie was brimming with pride as she showed me her certificate. She had the biggest smile I've seen fir a long time.
A long winded way to say yer dead right aboot Eddie and a reckon he deserves an award fir his achievements old but more especially new. :thumbup
