hi guys ,could do with some help with this one guys ,ive just bought a 2002 mille rsvr matt black troy corsa style the bike runs great and starts first pop i took it for a blast down my favourite back road (strathaven to muirkirk ) love it . anyway bike rides good but needs some adjustments to the suspension to make it right ,but it seems much slower than my old 2000 mille that goes like stink with loads of grunt ,im not sure if theres been any mods to the rsvr model ,i do know its had the snip . i took out the ecu and took a pic of the chip i found .i dont know how to post a pic but its here

rsvr = http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/2389342/

i also took out the ecu on my old 2000 mille and took a pic of that chip its here

rsv = http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/2389343/

when i say my old mille is faster than the rsvr i mean its much faster i dont mean top speed just off the mark say up to 100 mph im not sure if it has a standard chip or even what tb`s are fitted it has standard airbox with a k&n air filter leo vince titanium can and a power commander 3 usb both bike have the same sprockets 17/42 and both sitting with just under 19000 miles on the clocks .the rsvr has blue flame can and that chip in the pic , cant see any other mods that stand out .

can i swap the chips fitted in either of the ecu`s or even the full ecu in either bikes with each other ? or could this cause any damage . any info would be great guys :biggrin

If you have dyno'd PCIII to your 2000 then yes it want be to bad but not perfect / 02 have bigger valves than the early model so flow more air/fuel ratio .. A63 is a stock eprom & the other will more than likely be a clone off another chip they have copyed ... Get a known eprom writer to sell you a good chip
Dr Rossi /Garbo/Factory Pro etc
