This sounds completely mad and my brain is shout 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO', so here goes...

If I hit the buy it now button and you are reasonably local, would you mind awfully giving the bike a once over (checking V5 / Owner logbook) I obviously wont hold you in any way responsible for anything, but it seems safer then paying a complete stranger without being able to verify address!

If you are agreeable a good going over checking the following would be appreciated (and above the call of duty!)

1) Does the bike start easily
2) Does the sprag clutch make a nasty bang on starting
3) does the swingarm have any dings behind the exhaust / footpeg

What do you think!?
 
Is it anyone on here that has bid,,, Also how does he know it`s number 45 mine has no number on it !!

Hey Pete I wonder if he is having the same trouble as you? That picture of the dash was taking during the day but the clock is showing 0037:dunno
 
Well, I have put a deposit on the bike and will release the funds pending an inspection. Fingers crossed it works out well, I would like to claim the bike will be cherished and but in reality it will see numerous track days and ridden with scant regard to its exclusivity (after all it is just fancy stickers!)

I have already put money aside for another battery! my 02 model has been good as gold (but lives on an Optimate!)

Hopefully my 02 is going to a friend, and I have collected a number of panels for track action!
 
had a look at the bike today....:thumbup..nice box of aprilia bits n bobs letters, started on the button sounds.:inlove..just need a good clean n polish..guy saidits just to fast for him..:confused
