Why don't we have a section on this forum where members can let other members know if they are bidding on an item? Could save some a fair few quid.
Would have to be a gentlemens agreement whereas first to post about an item gets it perhaps?
Wouldn't hurt to have E Bay ID's known to other members either would it?

good idea mate. I've just lost out on an Ohlins damper tonight. Dunno who too but pissed off all the same as out for a spin with the missus when the thing ended so couldn't bid at the last. It went for 65, which ain't bad when they're 220 new. Teach me for being tight at 50 quid, eh.

That's what I thought. At the end of the day if something is on and its really cheap and you really want it, what are you going to do?

It seems there were 3 of us watching that damper , but ebay no longer disclose bidders details do they ?.
For some strange reason RSV bits on ebay seem rather rare also somewhat more expensive than jap stuff, so there will always be competition for what bits are available

That idea sounds good but would be difficult to realize in real life. I think you should bid a fair price, if your outbided than the fellaw will have it but when another one comes at least he will be out of the picture. It's who want it most...
