Dzus fairing fasteners

Want to swap my fairing fasteners for Dzus D ring items on my 2001 Mille R

What size/lengths do I need?
Do I need both fastener and backing plate as the existing bolts seem to be quarter turn items?
Any recommendations for decent quality/good value items?

you will only need the fastener if your clips are ok

i found the d ring tpe tend to stick out and i found that annoying so your choice.

size wise measure the shank (base of head to tip) and it will be 17mm-19mm so get the same size as what you have or they wont fit.

Measured and it looks like 17mm are in order X12

You also need to measure the width bud I think they're 5 or 6mm but you best check or they won't fit either!!
Some of the kits come with clips but still if the length is not right fairing panels won't close up tight......

I was gonna go for them on my Mille as I had some spare D-rings from a Ducati.
Only problem I found with them is that the "D" was too wide for the hole on the Mille. Ducati's are flushe with the fairing as the Mille is set back abit.

that's what i didnt like as they stick out due to the recess
