Dynojet push Quickshifter+ Griff's rearsets = no go

Bought a used push-type quickshifter for my Gen 1 Tuono and tried ftting it today but discovered that it's too short to fit to my Aprilia Performance rearsets :banghead

Anybody got around this? :dunno

Ive got mine to work. You need to adjust the length of the rod , re tap etc
