so are the front and rear sprockets common with other bikes?
In Canada it appears there are no sprockets to be found and I haven't been able to cross reference the sprockets anywhere.....

yes, you should be able to use sprockets from a 1200 dorsoduro (same bike) or the 750/900 dorso. that said, there are aftermarket rear sprockets you can get through Super Sprox. I put a 44 on the rear of mine and it was a nice little upgrade.
