dogbone lengths

I tried to sort the knackered bearings on my 2003 rsvr linkage but as they are soooo shagged I sent it off to get it measured for new bearings, anyhoos in the meantime I have put in the spare dogbone that I have. The problem is that the spare I have is 122mm between centres and the original which is linked to the ohlins is 130mm centres. I have put in the shorter one and it works ok but I'm wondering why the difference in length as the original sachs shock is the same length as the ohlins but every dogbone I've seen fer sale is 122mm centres. So where do I get another 130mm dogbone????:confused

dogbone ????... rsv's use a triangle plate..not sure if the plates on the mk1 and mk2 are the same though....perhaps someone made a custom set as its been known for them to snap.

my linkage snapped on me an i got a 130mm of guy about 3 week back for 20 quid send me you email address ill forward his number he had a few milles he was breaking.

genman the dogbone is the linkage that links the plates and swing arm to the rear shock. I also had the triangular plates that came with the 122mm dogbone and they were a different shape and bought the linkage more forward.
Cheers Cloughie I'll pm ya
