Does any one know? - 99 panels - will paint stripper remove more than i require

Hello, I have changed most of my 99 RSV Mille to 2002 panels, i still have the nose cone and small side pieces by the air ducts..

The standard Blue/Purple paint has flaked off in places and shows a nice matching black which would be nice to keep..

Can I use paint stripper on the blue/purple paint or are these panels made with a gel coat?

they don't have a gel coat,but I would be very carefull with the stripper

maybe i should try a little test spot.. thanks again Pat.. that's good to know.

Will have to try a tiny dot some where, then if ok, will do it bit by bit with a major rinse after..
