Dilemna riding with Leo vince SBK II pipes -- suggestions??

There doesn't seem to be enough room on the left footpeg to allow me to get comfortably up on the ball of my foot on the peg without bumping into the higher-up Leo Vince pipes with my heel. Well, I can get the ball of my foot onto the peg; but, the exhaust pipe keeps my foot at too steep of an angle. Thus, I cannot effectively keep the ball of my foot on the peg without the boot sliding down the peg. I can easily rest the arch of my boot on the peg; but, I feel more comfortable being able to get up on the ball of my foot.

I wear a size 46/12 boot. Has anyone else had this problem? Did you find a fix? I've considered aftermarket rearsets, but the descriptions I've read indicate that they would move the peg up and back. Given the angle of the pipe, I'm not sure if that resolves the issue -- if you can picture that.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi I've fitted Aprilia Performance footpegs they allow you to manage how you want the pegs orientated, Up/ down, forward , backwards. Pegs are completely interchasngerable left/right as well to maximise the options available.
've managed to set mine lower than standard & quite straight. this has given me a bit more leg room for my 6ft 3" physique.

Have your left heel surgically removed and donate it to Bay as a spare prosthetic nose.

Far too sensible, tricky mate

Not something I'm normally known for.

What I bought this for last week I just don't know.

At least I got one sensible response from you bastards.:thumbup

I posted the same question on the "other" popular Tuono forum and had over 40 looks but no replies. At least here, I get one good suggestion and some friendly ribbing.

the lads on the duc streetfechter forums have similar issues, so i,ve been providing spacers for them for a few years., they normally go out just 13mm each side.
