hi everyone,
my lovely wife who enabled me to get my amazing rsv4 factory (by part exing her 675 )has put me into a right dilemma.
to cut it short she had offered to help me turn my rsv4 into a track bike but i have to choose road or track. so my bike either stays being used on the road and paying insurance, road tax etc.... or to use that money each year to do about 5 track days a year.
Now i really enjoyed taking my old R1 on the track definitly the beast fun you can have with your clothes on and being able to use the bike as it always has wanted to be used. and with what i pay a year to be on the road it would be about 5 track days a year. Now i cant decide once i have done these days that will be all my riding done for the year and will it be enough, i dont do the miles i used to a year due to my son being a time vacuum. But i do enjoy riding on the road being able to pop out on my bike to shows and races but whenever i have a spirited ride i alwaysfeel i should be going faster which i know is not a healthy mind set. i mean im no hero but i like going what i consider quickly.
So i was wondering what the people out there think and if anyone has had the same dilemma and what they did and did they regret it at all????
Also if i did track it any advice on essential mods?
Cheers for reading and any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Marc
