i had a home made gasket in it because of leak when tank is full. once gasket failed , it stalled or even died(when i twisted hard). sometimes it would restart other times i had to turn off and turn on again to start.

Sounds more like a blocked breather pipe,or something.Have a look under the tank for any kinked or damaged pipes.
Very difficult to diagnose what is happening with the little amount of info given.Could be anything from a loose tilt switch,weak battery,fuelling issues or any other problem.
What have you checked so far?

Have you just changed your cans. as some T's can be effercted by some end cans.
Duff plugs.
Failing that a match to it.:lol

thank you. i will check the breather pipe, because my T. only started this after i replaced the stator. i will also check the tilt switch, i have two good batts. fuel check will be if needed.

I have changed cans about two years ago, and never had any problems.
your good. there was a blocked breather, but the problem still haunts me. now that you mention the tilt switch, I am very suspect. i measure 62.1K ohms. but when I cornered at steep angle it stuttered and choked. And still shuts down when attemting wheelies. Do these fuel cuts ware out before going bad?
