Morning all!

Pick up my 59 plate Tuono R in a week or so...its in spanking condition with about 4500 miles, standard apart from a tail tidy. Can't wait....it took all of 10 seconds on the test ride to know that it was already mine :lol

Been away from v-twins for a couple of years but have always been waiting to get get back on one.

1st job will be a set of cans and this 'map 2' mod when I can find somewhere to do it.

Look forward to picking your brains and having a bit of a laugh.

Cheers
Mossy :thumbup

Welcome onboard Mossy, loads of bits to add on the T and exhausts is a good start

Welcome Mossy,
Dont try picking our brains too hard, most of us have trouble picking our noses.

Apart from that dont be too shy & keep posting, especially over the winter when most of us are too soft to take the propper bike out.

Thanks for your replies guys. I'll look into the gearing when the current chain is knackered.

I'll certainly be taking the beast out in all weathers....having said that...it looks so pretty :)

we'll sort it for you buddy!!!

im sure ill be heading that way soon enough , there was even talk of a devon tour date soon.....interested??

speak soon

aaahhh another Janner on line, welcome mate, enjoy the beauty, where did yours come from

Riders, Bridgwater... paid more than my budget but got a beauty I reckon, well pleased. Had a Falco a few years ago and loved it apart from the back ache... Hopefully the T will solve all those problems, and with a bit more juice :) Only problem is gotta wait another week to pick it up...this week is going so sloooooooooww.

To Griff: yes mate Devon tour sounds fun... that sound of thunder with 10, 20+ tuono's rolling down the road would sound awesome :D

MIVVS are the exhaust to get. Theres a company in Hay on Wye that do them which can be found here

Gilos got some on his and I've only got One as I've not got twin exhausts. They sound awesome but its a brave man that can ride with the baffles out. I thought I'd be able to but had to put it back in.

Best of luck.

Cheers Bay - I do like the looks of the MIVV...have to wait to see whats left in the bank after xmas!

Look at the reduced price he's got them on for. If you phone him he might offer a bit more off. I picked mine up and he gave me a few more quid off

My Mivvs:

last time I used stomp-grips on my tank they virtually shredded the inside thigh of my leathers...:lol

Nice Mivvs Gilo, whats your verdict on the gripster tank pads mate?

They're Stompgrips - I've used them for a fair few years on various bikes. I'm not really conscious of using them to grip the tank, but if I try and ride a bike without 'em now it feels really weird and I slide about all over the place.

As Tifa says, they shag your leathers (holes on the inside of both knees on my Astars track pants) - on my Street Triple I have some cheaper Stompgrip copies which feel just as grippy but don't knacker yer leathers.
