Hi guys, just a quick post to tell you about how good the Delkevic customer service is. I bought a pair of the stubby cans and once fitted did what everyone does - removed the baffles to see what the sound was like. Anyway living in North Wales and with the police as they are, I put them back in to go for a ride and yes you`ve guessed it - didn't screw on of them back in tightly enough, so get home to find I minus one baffle (you'd think I would have notcied before I got home !!!) Emailed Delkevic to tell them (obviously didn't tell them I'd taken it out previously) and asked how much for a replacement. They offered to send one out free on charge - wow result !!! - it arrived today

Probably not a very interest story, but good customer service (and getting somthing for nothing) is beoming increasingly rare these days :thumbup

Am I correct in thinking Delkevic are in fact just D&K motorcycles in Newcastle Under Lyme, trying to sound foreign and exotic like Akrapovic?

Not denigrating the product or the fantastic customer service, genuine question?

Yeah they are based in Newcastle Under Lyme - not sure about the D&K bit but is does make sense as I`ve been told that Delkevic is owned by two fella's called Del and Kevin (the `DelKev` bit) and one or maybe both used to work at Akrapovic ( the `ic` bit) and is now going in their own direction hence - Delkevic :dunno

Are they any good ??? i have seen them on ebay brand new for 120 quid i have a 03 so i would only need one just wandering if they are a bit too cheap to be cheerfull

Ahh shame as i was toying with the idea of getting one just for ***** and giggles, fortunatly or unfortunatly being a dad to a young family means i cant throw a heap of cash at an akro system, what would you suggest is a half decent can for half akro money????

pdoney i grew up in mold not so long ago ... what a nice place it is great roads too

Anything D&K are involved with i would stay well clear of

Got my bike from D&K & had Delkevics fitted & used them for service & had NO problems ,,,,,,,,, few of us on here got delkevics ie Rhodeseeker / Kawaskinitt & myself and good cans for £199 for the pair fitted :thumbup

Hopefully they've improved and got their act together. Have you ever walked into the workshops and seen the working environment:eek:

There were some right horror stories about repairs carried out by D&K a few years ago. They were also selling restricted French imported bikes sold as full power models to unsuspecting owners. :jack

Regards to the quality they are ok but at the price you get a cheap can that does the job and sounds good. They are still pretty loud though, with baffles in I failed the 98db test at Silverstone, they were 101db. I only use mine as a track bike so they are not so expensive to replace if I bin it, but as road cans on a budget they are ok but dont expect the fit and finish of more expensive cans.

Thats the delkevic on my avatar, and I`m well pleased with it ,titanium for £149.99 can`t be bad,but they have gone up £50 since I bought mine.
As stated loud enough with the baffle in
