hey folks have any of you de stickered yer t,
was washing an polishin it tonite and took a notion of getting the hair dryer out, but stopped short with the thought of discolouring under the stickers, anyone tried it and what was the result like, and if anyone had a spare factory belly pan kicking about they were wantin to sell that would be good, lol,,,,their like fecking hens teeth to find
cheers

It depends on how long the bike has been exposed to UV. I've successfully removed stickers from bikes with the help of a hair dryer, but only after a recent purchase of a new bike. And, I'm sure you (dah!) know, don't try it if they are under a clear coat and you are unwilling to do a full do-over.

My factory lost most of its stickers recently as I felt the carbon was just too beautiful to hide.

I tried the hairdryer but made no difference, best thing was to pick up an edge (fingernail won't scratch) and s l o w l y peel back. Damn things tear if too fast. :banghead

I only have stickers on tank (under clear coat by the looks) and bellypan now. Looks nice.

I tried to remove the aprillia sticker on the front fairing with the hair drier and made a right mess, had to recover it with another sticker. Looks a bit iffy now though!:bawling I recommend staying away from the stickers!!

I tried de-stickering and ended up respraying too........be warned don't f**k with the decals dude lol

Good point guys. My stickers were over carbon which has a hard finish and therefore came away without bother. Looks like may be trouble with other surfaces!
