Dashboard (lens) for '04-'08 RSVR

Hi,

Looking for an undamged clear plastic lens cover for an RSVR ('04-'08) dashboard. Would buy a complete dash unit, but it does NOT have to be working (in fact preferably not as it needs to be cheap!). The lens on mine is cracked and needs replacing.

Hi markps. Did you get any replys to your post. My 04 RSVR dash just died and I need a new one that works. Which also means I have an undamaged one that does not work.

Hi Wildchild,

Thank you for making contact. No, I haven't had any other replies to my post for a dashboard lens, and I can't believe that you cannot buy the lens separately from the unit. So, I am still in the market for one. Have you any thoughts about how much you would like for yours? Please could you confirm that your bike is The '04-'08 model, and not an old shape '04 because the dashboard shape did change with the new bike?

Yep the bike is the right one. Only just found out about my problem today from the dealer but after reading posts on here about the immobilizer I intend to look into that first. Same symptoms as others. Bike was idle for a while, battery went flat, zero speedo, will not start now.. More info in the post 10-14-2011 from The Ring-In. If it does turn out to be a fault in the dash I will let you know.
