Hi gents

I brought my 06 Tuono with a few faults but got a good price expecting an easy fix. The warning lights on the dash are gone (indicator, beam, fuel light and neutral light) the bike currently has some ****** led's wired up for the indicator and beam. Its more of an annoyance than anything as the bike is great apart from this and i would like to fix it for any future sale. The dealer i prchased it from have tried to fix it..tried cleaning the connector under the tank but nothing has worked. And apparantly the dash has been discontinued by aprilia. Luckily chase superbikes in cannock have received a dash as spares, how easy will it be to replace and has anyone had similar problems. Is this a typical tuono problem.

Thanks in advance

call Griff at aprillia performance in Tamworth he will sort it for you no probs 01827 285500

clocks and ignition switch are coded to each other , so beware .

its a popular misconception that the ignition switch is coded to the ecu ! . not the case .

best of luck . electrics are a bastard to sort , bin there done that .

BTW I have a spare ecu , ignition switch imobiliser aerial, and fuel cap with key spare .

also a left hand bar switch unit for spares .

good luck .

Are they new clocks or s/h? For the clocks to work, you will need to input a 5 digit code.If you dont know it,then the guessing game begins.
The factory uses easy codes like 00000,11111,12345,etc.
Once the clocks are working, you need to pair up the keys.Go into diagnostics with the l/h h/bar switch.Enter the code 13432,...from there you will find the key change menu.

Sorry for late reply, they are old clocks that were taken off one of there old bikes, apparantly nothing wrong with them, just waiting to get them fitted, spoke with griff at aprilia and he said he can sort it.

Thanks for everyones help.
