Our Local circuit ... :thumbup It was a dry day right up until end of final session, but by then most of the riders had, had enough. We have 34*C and 99.9% humidity here now, so losing litres of water in sweat is a fatigue battle at times..yer leathers end up a soggy mess :puke
Our wet season storms are moving in so the track closes until early next year after the rains.

The circuit wasnt open to photographers, so my shutter bug comrade could only shoot from the pit lane area..not the best angle as our straightaway here is just over 1km long and by the time you lvl with the pits your hookin' & past in a flash.:doug
She did manage to work the 200mm lense, & get quick enough to get some shots, but alot of throw away shots, also none that really shows the track or me :rant from angles ..it does it no justice to shoot from pit lane...hopefully i can get some varying angle shots next year

I have some photos of a couple of other bikes that were out for the day also. The Ape never shamed itself amongst em :pirate

 Numerous exuberant riders running off the corners keeps it fresh in your mind to not let em get too close. Only one joker binned it & hell it was only a Honda.

First up, a very nice Carbon Fibre helmet..man this baby if way light  & bloody sexy as!

Looks fantastic matey.....VERY tidy bike & excellent quality photos....I'm VERY jealous as the weather here can only be described as '****', haven't been able to turn a wheel in anger for what feels like a long time. Take it easy!

OK STL :biggrin, 99.9% may be an exageration, but it was hell thick. Bike ran very well considering the conditions. Normally i top out down the straight @ 262 on a thinner air day, but was getting 255 Sunday. Track temps were high, but the brand spanker new Michies stuck pretty well, getting a little too hot n soft towards the edges around lap 7 or 8...not attempting fate i kept it pretty docile for the day & brought the bike home safely...always the main aim.
A good turnout come the afternoon sessions for the last track day of the year & the RSV held its ground well against the other more serious riders . :thumbup

Some more pics here if yer wanna have a look also matey.

Yearh, the plate :biggrin, i was right pleased when Motor Vehicle Rego said it was clear & i could have on the Ape :doug

Pics taken from my new Nikon D60, farkin good camera matey, well pleased.

Hidden Valley Raceway is under 10 minutes up the road from my place, its our only race circuit in Darwin, any thing else for me is thousands of mile away. Its a good fast track, and has some technical sections with some hell race lines :D :pirate

Cheers, Aus
