Thats the only excuse I have for reappearing on the forum. Been a while since my last post [2] I think. Been too busy out on the bike most eves...when her indoors says I can play with my mates. But now the late evenings down the caf are closing, its tinkering and forum time.
Just fitted a pair of GPR underseat cans to the bike, after a silly decision to refit standard exhausts. Transformed the bike no end. Loud, hellish loud infact, pissed off the neighbours, sets off car alarms and runs really well, except for the popping on the overun, still on map1. Is it necessary to reset to map 2??
The MV is shoved in the corner of the garage, in disgrace. Serious fork seal oil leak, infact totally drained of oil. Dont know what it is with this problem cos the 998 Ducati had exactly the same issue with very similar mileage. Bought an oil seal scraper/cleaner
to clean out any debris, but still leaked. So resealing is the next expense........ah just noticed its 9 posts!!
