just in case anyone is interested i had a few power runs done the other day out of curiosity.

bike is a 2010 with about 1200 miles on it, running map 2, standard airbox and filter.

done with these cheapy but devilishly loud cans...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GP-Carbon-Exhaust-Aprilia-RSV-Mille-04-08-Tuono-06-10-EX123-/220977713686?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item33734c5216#ht_6082wt_942

and then with japanese yoshi cans, no db killers fitted.

was quite surprised as i thought the danmoto ones would lose 2-3hp top end.

wasn't expecting the mid range dip though!!

Thats some dip! So which cans are you running now?

certainly is a big dip, it reminded me of my old RG500, was a bit rough at about 5-5,500 and went mental at just over 6,000!!

have stuck the yoshi cans on for now, will wait till i get the airbox done and PC stuck on and then stick the dan moto cans back on.
fingers crossed should be minimal difference between the two, subject to bit of fiddling with the pc.

Wondered if those Danmoto cans wer eever any good. Always takes a pioneer to try them and ell every one else.

Is there any way to tune them back into the Yoshi territory?

Cheers Bandito (Akrapovic cans, stage 2 tune, Dosiduro handguards :hmm2: on me 2010 T)

i reckon the power commander should be able to sort them out, they weren't bad on the bike. you wouldn't know there was such a big dip but you could feel when the torque jumped back up.

Why on earth would you be bothering to fit cheapo cans when you already have a pair of (performance proven) Yoshi's in your arsenal?

think the cheapo cans have proven themselves so far ;)

it's the look of the danmoto that i prefer, plus they sound awesome.

may be a naff pic lad, but they look way better than them danimotios.

but nothing, and i mean nothing will detract from all that ****** anodizin...

Thats true. The Dan's look very small, I bet they sound awesome. Dare to be different bloke. I run Carbon Can co's on my T, never seen another T with them on, and they are loud.:thumbup

they have just started to settle in, bloody loud, hell of a bark to them and some nice pops on down change.

prefer the yhoshis mate, as for the anodising each to there own

they're just to big for my liking, if they were about 2/3 size then i think they'd be great.

Yeh, I like the compact look of the Danmoto cans, bloke. Also nice to see a customised T. Whats the yellow H for on the tank, Bloke?
