Well, Am pretty hacked off.

So on Sunday i went out for a quick ride. Was just up the road from my house and we have some Temp traffic lights. So i started filtering at 10-15mph with my lights on. I left a good 2metres between me and the side of the cars. And then this guy pulls out and BANG. He turned into me and slight got my panal, Bent my R&G bung and the spindle, gear shift and rearset is bent and peg snapped off. I was fine some how, all it did was take my toeslider off and a scuff on my knee slider.

He wasnt so lucky, His mirror was knocked off, wing is all bent to hell, bumper was ripped off and knackered rad as it was leaking coolent.

So he has admitted he was wrong, And was fine about everything which isnt to bad, So he might pay for it without going thought the insurance if its not to much money.

I did have a mint 00 RSVR now not so much :(

whats goin on ? these last few weeks , seems like everything and their dog has something against some poor sod on an RSV :dunno

Good that you are ok, I am of the opinion like some of the others, go through the insurance, why I say this is due to past experience. I was knocked off by a young lady a while back, no damage to me and the bike wasnt that bad and had the usual scratches. The young lady in question was sooooooooo apologetic and agreed to pay for everything cash. Being a trustworthy type I agreed not wanting to get her into trouble. After presentation of the bill she changed her mind and then the fun started, no money then no insurance. Meantime I was out the cost of the repairs. Court case ongoing. Lesson learnt, no more Mr. nice guy, accident = police report + insurance :thumbup

Well i told my insurance company all about it anyway. Been getting some prices for things. Where i find stickers for the RSVR? I tryed my local Aprilia dealer and you have to buy the whole fairing sticker fit for 128 only need one.

Will see how it goes. I would rather get the cash and get the bike sorted out with no drama. But things are looking expensive so its an insurance job i think.

Would they even look at my leathers and boots as they look fine from the bumper, But just had normal wear and tear on them.

Hi PLuKE you can get stickers from the image-works HERE i used them to replace a couple of mine but to be honest the colour match was crap

As you can see the yellow is too bright :jack

Oli (from on here ) is currently doing me some replacements and look good from the pics he sent me so maybe a pm to him and he might be able to sort you out :thumbup

Mine is is the same as that but has Aprilia at the bottom aswell. Its just white RSV and red box for Aprilia. So hopefully looks like the OEM sticker.

What did that cost you.
