Ok, up for sale here is my much loved Dianese 'K' 1 piece suit. I am loathe to part with it as its the best bit of biking kit I own but somehow it's shrunk and doesn't fit me anymore. :devious
Either that or my love of donuts has something to do with it. Anyhow, I've decided that since I can't really wear it any more it would be better to sell on and put the cash towards something that actually fits me.
Size - Dainese '50'
It's a Euro size '50' which equates roughly to a 40"- 42" chest and a 32" - 34" waist. When I first got it I was a 32/34 waist with a 42 chest and it fitted me like a glove. Bare in mind that 1 piece suits are supposed to be a race fit sort of deal and meant to be close fitting. Sadly, I'm now pushing a 36" waist and a 44" chest so although I can still get into it and ride with it on, it's not exactly what I'd call comfortable especially when off the bike and walking around. Hope that gives a rough idea of the sizing.
Condition
Very good condition. It has a couple of small marks on it here and there but nothing really worth mentioning. It did have a mark I couldn't get rid of about half way up on one side of the chest near the zip but as you can see I've covered that up with two 'Aprilia' sew on patches which look pretty good. All zips and fasteners work fine. There is armor in the usual places and space to either fit a back protector or wear one separately which is what I do. Aero hump on the back and Dainese knee sliders included which are unmarked as I've got slower and more wary in my riding style as the years have passed. I took good care of these while I was still using them, cleaning them with Renapur cleaner and Preslea hide food.
Selling for £140 which is a bit of a bargain I think. Postage will be around the £12-£15 mark from past experience. Going to chuck these on the Bay of 'E's soon but thought I'd offer them up here first. No silly offers chaps as I'm in no hurry to sell since they have been sat for the past year and a half hanging up not doing anything. :thumbup
They are advertised for sale elsewhere so I reserve the right to remove.......blah,blah,blah.
