Cutting out at high revs!

Hello guys,

I'm very new to this but had mille for a little while and don’t seem to have much luck!
Anyways had my first track day today only to brake down after the warm up lap!:doh

The problem, cutting out after reaching 6-10k revs and then the revs drop to below 0 and power cuts out to nothing. Then the right hand screen reads Diag '1'
After about 30 seconds turn key on -off she'll start up again but problem persists

If anyone can help me diagnose this I’d be very grateful!

Thanks guys I will investigate the side stand switch, but strange how it happens at high revs every time? I rang my local Aprilia dealership today and he said check all connections especially the ones at the back with the relays. so will do that too.

'Stress' was the symptoms exactly the same then, as I described?

yes but i didn't have diag 1 on my dash. it was one of the wires on my sidestand switch, it got torn a little bit and as the vibrations increased, the bike turned off...

its the throttle postion sensor matey, (diag 1) if it revs a bit then dies.

Thanks! i did that today and seems to have sorted it!

I check every connection i could too, but seems that i needed to calibrate the TPS back to 0 on the LCD.
Cheers for all the in put.
