Cut out twice, hmmmm?

Hi all,

I went out for a ride today and my bike cut out twice for some reason. the first time I was giving it beans on a straight. I heard a noise which sounded like the rev limiter and then it ground to a halt. There is a good chance that I did actually hit the red line but im unsure if this would make it cut out?

The second time I was on dual carriage way (About 5 mins after this) and she cut out again. On this occasion I pulled to one side and turned the engine off/on. It wouldnt start from the button or even attempt to tick over. I went back to my old RS125 days remembering the sidestand poorness and thought id flick the sidestand down/up. She started on the first push.

I got home ok but this is puzzling me. Here are the recent amendments ive made to the bike:

- Fitted Hooked airbox with no issues
- Fitted Leo Vince full system and supplied Eprom, I noticed the mid range didnt seem too clever. I tried fitting the Triton EPROM I had on previous, this is the only time this bike has ever cut out.
- I fitted the supplied a sidestand extention bracket which fouls the downpipes when its up slightly.

Sorry for the lenghty post but any thoughs?

Bypass the stupid ****** sidestand switch but leave it connected that it shows you when the sidestand is down on the dash, there is a thread that I found on AF1 forums.

Thanks a lot guys! Ive had a good look and it looks like its broken apart in one area. I'll bypass it for now.

Cheers again!
