Let’s be honest, most of us look at footage like that and think, wow, wouldn’t it be great to be able to do that………………..much like we do when we watch an action movie – which is where I reckon guys like that go wrong. Sure, they’ve both got riding skill way, way above mine, and more balls too, BUT they’re not living in the real world. They have totally disregarded their responsibility to others. Bloomin’ obvious to all of us that one small aberration from any of the other road users and they, and several others, are toast. Sure, we all ride beyond the law sometimes (why have an RSV if you ALWAYS stick to 70mph?) but I’m betting that the most talented riders here are probably also the safest on the road. I also bet those 2 reckon they’re better than police riders. Maybe in a stunt circus, but everywhere else no way.
As I said, they are living in a fantasy world, but you can bet your RSV that when it all goes wrong they will expect the real world and all its support network to come to their rescue.
