Hi Guys
On the 18 of Dec on my way to work with my new Alpine Star Aprilia jacket, I had a small misunderstanding with a Toyota Quantum -Taxi-.
As I came down the street I saw the Taxi approaching in the on coming traffic with the indicator on to turn right over my lane, I slowed down to see what the prick is going to do because a Taxi in Sa is just trouble. I saw him stopping a sign of relieve or so I thought I glanced down to check my revs and opened up as I did just that he decided to take a chance.
I hit the brakes with the image of the Big white taxi in front of me.....
When I came around again I was rolling over the road seeing tar road and blue sky, tar road and blue sky.......out againuke
The next time I came around I was lying face down in the opposite lane, I got up and walked to the pavement. Then the anger struck me, I ripped off my helmet, gloves and back pack ready to give the guy a good *** kicking.:rant
As I searched for the Taxi my eye caught my RSV lying in the road, my hart sunk and all the anger droved away replaced by sorrow.
The damage is my ROOF Diversion RO10 France made helmet, my new Aprilia Alpine Star jacket and my RSV is beyond Economical Repair.
Luckily there was bystanders to help me move the RSV and the medics came to apply some TLC to my wounds- Ligaments right foot, lacerations on my knees and lower back- and traffic cops arrived to do what ever they do except giving us a hard time.
So when I found the driver of the Taxi a few min later he just stared down at the ground like some one who knows he just f@cked up. His reply was one most of us have heard -SORRY I DID NOT SEE YOU-:dunno
Turns out the RSV did hit the taxi just behind the rear wheel.
But I live to ride again enought said.irate
For picture please go to my garage...
