Just a warning about "no name" sliders (and probably other products) I had "ebay" sliders on my R1 when I binned it at brands , cost me a frame , tank and a myriad of other bits. Fast forward a year and I had R&G upper and lower slider when I got nerfed off again at Brands...........................rode the bike home that night and to work the next day.
Take from that what you may but I wouldn't trust any non "no name" safety kit.
i have had R&G products fail on me twice now, with very expensive consequences... they all use the same grade nylon, it's purely down to design on an individual bike basis
I did see some which were advertised as fitting without having to mod the fairing - they were on a bracket which came out from behind the fairing to give a mounting point. Sorry, can't find the link now. Frankly though, banging down a quarter of a ton of bike and rider onto some bungs with a 3-4" moment of force from the mount does not seem like sound mechanical sense to me.
