Guys I am looking for pictures of where to fit a set of crash bungs to my bike. I got a free set from a mate but the the thread on the bolt is too big for that on the bike. He assured me they were for a 2008 latest model.

What make are they ? If they are R&G thier website is pretty clear on where to nail em to, be very similar for other makes.

Well as per my down and not out thread . My r&g's allround stopped 99% of damage . Probably £200ish for everything but lot better than the £1500-2000 it would have cost me .

Dont fancy the idea of carbon ones though .

Snaggle

swing arm pivot for one set(lowers), and just behind the header tank on one side and the oil reservoir on t'other (uppers). r & g or woodcraft seem to be most popular, personally i would not bother with the ones that bolt straight to the upper chassis though, they would probably do more harm than good,if anything at all, r and g do them with a nice bracket that has several mounting points to spread out the stress on impact.
hope this helps :)

theres a guy on the af1 site that just listed a set for 80.00 or 85.00 bucks. black ends on them

OOOOppps. who's the fud. Again.
