crash bobbins/protectors

any advice on which ones to go for price/protection/looks etc,looking for somthing that dosent look s**t ,wanting to fit to forks/swingarm/engine ,any advice appreceated,or arnt they worth bothering with :yes:cheers

Its like any anything bud..You get what you pay for.

Iv'e had a pair of R&G's fitted for about £80...Not cheap but how much will it save you if the worst happens?

Look good..Top quality :)
 
I second that. They work well too.
Mine have paid themselves back many times over already.

R&G do a full set that looks pretty cool when the whole lot is fitted.
 
I got a set of ebay,I think they were £40 ish front& rear spindles,frame and a set of stand bobbins.he does different colours and they look ok
 
cheers for the replys,ive ordered r&g front and rear axle kits but yet to get for the engine area,was going to get the ones for the front of the engine yet and think i will leave it at that then,
 
Get the lot.

The front engine bungs will keep the radiators safe, but the bolts tend to bend fairly easily when chrashed. The rear ones are more substantial because they bolt straight through the frame. It's worth checking that the rear ones don't push against your shins, if you decide to go for them too.

What ever you end up buying, it's money well spent for peace of mind if for nothing else.
