Anyone recommend a good set?
And where to purchase asap please.

Nobist,
If you need some fork and swingarm protectors try this site http://www.jsrracingdesigns.co.uk/ I ordered on TuesdAY evening and they were delivered today. 27 quid for both sets and I am happy with them. There is no need to cut the threaded bar as they are already cut to size.

Crash bungs

Nobby

R&G are the best place to start - I have "crash tested" their stuff. It works.

Don't waste money on the one for the front spindle - the tuono doesn't need them it's got proper handlebars rather than clip-ons.
Edit. The spindle type also trap moisture and cause the inside of the wheel spindles to rust.

The front upper ones are good at low speed stuff - save your radiators if you topple etc.
The Rear Frame mounted ones - rear engine mounting REALLY do the business holding the bike off the tarmac at road legal speeds.
Replace the cotton bobbins to protect the swing arm etc.
Replace the bar ends if you want to.

If you crash above 60/70 then the bike will most likely flip at some point and destroy itself beyond any crash bung.

R&G will send the stuff out pretty much same day, and you can buy individual parts to sort them if you have a minor off.

Or of course you can make your own, I think Blue Peter do some made out of old toilet tubes and yoghurt pots.:rolleyes

I know what your saying at the end thier Paul, it was either R&G or Woodcraft anyway. Gonna order some today. What I have noticed though is that the Factory bikes don't seem to have the rad guard[little scuff strip] on the side but the R's do. So could do with something for thier too, got a little scratch needs covering any road.
Cheers N

As far as I know Woodcraft are every bit as good as R&G, but they are US based and R&G are this side of the pond. After I binned my T at Cadwell a couple of years ago I needed to replace the stuff on the left hand side (ran out of talent at Mansfield) and rang R&G. Nice lady there talked me through what I needed and I only paid for the bits I needed.

How about some sort of decal for the Rads?

Don't get me going on decals. Been to 6 printer/graphics people with some ideas for the T and some business stuff. 'Yes sir we can do that sir', never heard from any of them. Not really seen anything out there for what I want.
Anyhoo, R&G direct or through a good dealer ?

Job done £:crazy, hope I never need to use em:lol

Sorry Nobby - missed the reply - I had to do some work

I figure you've gone direct? - price is about the same and no middle man.

Yep went direct, was gonna give em some free advertising but the T's only go to 1x. Could still do with some kind of rad guard for the sides though.

I'm glad that the Woodcrafts were on Andiamo. I need a new rad guard for the L side too. You can't go wrong with AF1. Looking at the rear axle sliders... that may have saved the swing arm.

I went with the woodcrafts and rhinomoto from af1

That left side looks awfully cherry... ya mind of I "borrow" a couple of bits for Andiamo? The slider would be a good start...
