Hi, bought a 2004 RSVR Factory end of summer last year after years of owning a SP2 track bike, after hours of stripping it down cleaning & servicing I took the front wheel out at the weekend for a new tyre & noticed a crack in the left fork leg above the pinch bolts, I have had a look on various sites & seems to be a common problem so need a solution to fix the problem, I have had a quote from an Ohlins service centre in Chippenham Wilts & to replace the cracked left bottom & also new seal & oil in both they want £447 +VAT, does this sound about right or does any one know of a cheaper alternative or anyone with a second hand fork botton (uncracked)?
