Couple questions

Hi, new owner here. Couple quick questions. Which Yamaha solenoid is the one that is a replacement? I can see on lots of posts its a Yamaha but can't for the life of me find a post that specifies which one.

Question 2, The bike came with an Aprilia racing titanium can, single output.....guy I bought bike from didn't know if it was legal or not...any ideas if its legal?

YAMAHA part # 4KD-81-940-00

The exhaust is stamped not for road use. Although some ppl scrub this out.

Cheers Paul, I had found that post before with part number, in fact I think it was one of your posts. But can't seem to locate one through the number. Do you know what yam its on?

I cant remember something *****....

Try searching without the hyphens. If you get stuck i am sure that griff or tash can supply uprated solenoids.

The can has a stamp on the link pipe ....either polish it out or wrap it ....which I have done to mine

Cool, will look at that later. One last thing I keep hearing but can't find the exact description on is an ethanol thing with the tanks. I have a plastic tank by the feel and sound of it...

certain makes of fuel have ethanal in which cause the swelling ..try a search on here or rsvr.net sure teres a list somewhere...never looked as i have a metal tank
