Couple of Questions 2002 Tuono

I have a 52 plate Tuono

Only noticed the other day that the rear shock is a sachs? Is this standard? I thought they were Boge?
I do know that the bike was a cat C right off when I bought it so may have had some mods done.

Secondly, side stands. I have had it fall over twice due to a flat tyre, done a search and seen loads about the gen2 side stands. Is there a mod for the gen1 ones?

1. Yes, Sachs is standard
2. Gen1 & Gen2 stands are the same - so either the US stand, or Blade 04-07 (I think can't really remember top of my head) are direct replacements. Loads of negative vibes going on about the bubseywoo stands sold on ebay, so I'd avoid that option at the moment.
