Couple of electrical niggles...

So... My 2007 RSVR has developed 2 problems and I'm just wondering if they're related because they cropped up at the same time.

First is the speedo sometimes registers 4 or 5 mph when stationary and sometimes reads zero when moving.

And second is that the indicators turns themselves on randomly.

Related or just two desperate faults?

Speedo sounds like speedo sensor on the way out. (down near rear caliper). Easy fix. Don't know about other fault, sorry.

hi ya indicator comes on when you give it some beans my bike does that no one no,s what it is

Hi zubes.

Yep. Exactly the same. The indicator switch feels fine and it cancels fine. I thought I may be catching it but its happened lots of times and I've made a conscious effort to keep my thumb away from the switch... Weird!

Ps when my speedo sensor went, it flashed various speeds before registering zero. But the max mph readout showed 184mph. Good job no clued up ECILOP saw that :devious
