I believe that whilst the above is correct in my opinion (which is worth exactly what you're paying me for it ) that if you experience a sticky or slipping clutch it can be affected by the oil.... But I also believe IIRC that this was primarily synth or semi synth rather than the grade.
I think any oil is better than no oil
you may find also that the clutch action can be affected by the thickness of the oil and the clutch jet size in certain circumstances. Check if yours has been changed and if not invest the grand sum of 13.90 or thereabouts and set about changing it.

I should make clear this is from the POV of Aprilia Falco experience which for many things is compatible with earlier Mille models
