Cored cans

Hi folks
Just finished coring the cans on my `08 Tuono. I found the cat was well down in the link pipe on the standard cans and quite difficult to get to but a cold chisel and gentle persuasion helped it out. I ordered the 63.5mm perforated tube and wadding from Performance Racing Parts which the guy kindly cut to 500mm each. There was plenty wadding to get a nice tight fit. Because the pipe is 63.5mm you don't get a lot to manouvre with to line up with the top cap, but I cut each pipe to 457mm at the base up to 465mm at the top at an angle to compensate for the top cap.

Anyway all done and rivets back on and **** me they are sounding good. Better keep small pets and children away from them cos if you are a bit light on your feet they would blow you away. I'll try and add a wee photo on the finished article. Cheers for the advice Eugene and those of you who have posted before on how to core these bad boys.
